About Spruced Roost

Spruced Roost began in 2018 with a shared love of creativity, entrepreneurship, and finding distinctive pieces that make everyday life feel more personal.

Both raised by entrepreneurial parents, we learned early that building something of your own takes imagination, resilience, and plenty of hard work. Those lessons inspired us to create a family-owned shop where thoughtfully selected products and our own original designs could live side by side.

Today, Spruced Roost brings together women’s apparel, jewelry, candles, home accents, pet accessories, gifts, and music-inspired merchandise. Heather creates many of the original designs featured throughout the shop, while other pieces are thoughtfully selected from trusted makers and suppliers. Our candles are hand-poured by our candle-making partner. What connects every collection is a sense of warmth, individuality, and country heart.

Spruced Roost is also home to Opal Moon Riders, the country/Americana music project we created together. Our songs and merchandise reflect many of the same things that shape this shop: family, faith, open roads, hard-earned hope, and the stories we carry with us.

Our creative work also includes Opal Sky Ranch, an original children’s series inspired by country life, curiosity, kindness, and adventure. Through its stories and characters, we’re building a world where children can learn to be a little braver, kinder, and more compassionate—without losing the wonder and fun of childhood.

We are still growing, creating, and refining Spruced Roost—but it remains deeply personal to us. When you shop here, you are supporting an Idaho-owned small business and the family behind it.
